When the sword of prophecy chose Erein as Lord Gold, his future was clear. Find Lady Silver. Build an army. Drive the dragons out of Pella Sicula. Of course, that was before Jay refused to become Lady Silver and his well-planned future collapsed. Now, when dragons attack, he must face them alone.

Jay has problems of her own. The time shift that saved her from the eruption of Vesuvius took her to City Earth, the worst place in at least two universes. She’s stuck there unless she can work out how to control her shifts through time. If she can, she might be able to find her way back to Pella to help Erein to save humanity.
